Adobe Stock Audio Lands on Premiere Pro in Adobe’s Latest Software Update

Ever tech-driven company Adobe announced a major update on their Creative Cloud service for video and audio editing, that includes a very exciting addition: Adobe Stock audio library is now fully integrated into Premiere Pro CC.

This means you can search, preview, test edit and license high-quality music tracks right on the video editor’s interface, accelerating your workflow and simplifying your life all at once.

This takes Premiere Pro to offer professional and fully integrated catalogues for both stock footage and stock audio powered by Adobe Stock, making it one of the most efficient one-stop-shop video editing apps.

Last but not least, the company announced upcoming improvements on their video and audio editors based on Adobe Sensei intelligent tech.

Adobe Stock Audio: Thousands of Tracks, One Click Away

Announced recently, the integration of Adobe Stock’s audio library into Premiere Pro puts thousands of professional-graded music tracks –sourced from sound providers like Epidemic Sound or Jamendo– right on your video editing space.

You can launch the sound collection and browse tracks from parameters like mood, genre, tempo and duration. All tracks include, and this is a key, non-watermarked previews you can test edit into your project, and you may also use the Timeline Sync feature to test multiple songs in sync with your video content.

Once you’ve selected the final music tracks to use, you can license them from the Essential Sound or Project panels. The preview files will be automatically replaced by the high-quality licensed versions on your piece, just like that.

All audio tracks are royalty-free and suitable for social media, web, digital advertising and more. The cost per track can be from a couple of bucks and up to a few hundred dollars depending on the intended use, but there are also subscriptions available that cut it down to just $3 per file, so you should definitely explore this option.

Accelerated Workflow & Improved Creative Experience

This update obviously aims at making your life easier when editing video projects, as we all know great music can lift up and complement any footage for a superb audiovisual result. But the changes also mean a better user experience for creatives too.

Working with non-watermarked previews is a novelty many will welcome, as sound watermarks are distracting and not always allow a real grasp of how the original track will blend in.

Plus, let’s not forget Adobe Stock Footage catalogue is already merged and accessible from the Premiere Pro interface. Adding audio integration puts the videomaker’s two most relevant stock media resources right on the virtual editing table for a perfectly seamless workflow.

Upcoming: Adobe Sensei Features in Video Editors

While the audio inclusion into Premiere Pro is live already, Adobe also disclosed previews of new intelligent tools to be soon available on their various video editing apps, all powered by Adobe Sensei, their Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies.

One such tool is Scene Edit Detection, a feature that will land on Premiere Pro to accurately identify and point edits in any video file to simplify per-clip adjustments.

Another one is Roto Brush 2 (previously presented as Project Face Mask), which will be available on After Effects to automatically isolate and rotoscope objects in video sequences.

Adobe Stock Audio More Useful than Ever

These exciting news only increase Adobe Stock Audio’s value for creatives, especially for Adobe fans as now you have just everything you need to realise your vision with powerful stock media content in a one, two, three.

If you have not used Premiere Pro to edit your videos yet now is certainly a great time to start!
