The stock media leader Shutterstock recently announced a new content partnership with FILMPAC that will bring a significant collection of premium stock footage to both Shutterstock and Pond5 by Shutterstock platforms.
While Shutterstock aims at better serving its customers with access to exclusive and first-class videos for their projects, FILMPAC hopes to benefit from Shutterstock’s global buyer base to reach more creatives.

What is FILMPAC – Premium, Highly-Curated Footage
FILMPAC is a premium stock footage boutique, founded in 2017 and based in Oregon, US. Created by filmmakers and filmmakers, they offer a library of over 100,000 exclusive, cinema-quality footage clips from professional cinematographers and artists, and they have a dedicated curation process that sorts the content into 15 categories.
All video assets are shot on RED equipment and in 4K+ resolution, and the collection includes video frame rates.
Covering topics that range from cityscapes and natural scenery to innovative technology and healthcare discoveries, these clips are all unique and have a strong focus on authenticity, making them perfect for visual storytelling and viewer engagement.
FILMPAC in Shutterstock and Pond5
Through this new partnership, the new FILMPAC content is made available for all Shutterstock users, as part of the Shutterstock Select segment. And also on Pond5 –the stock footage agency Shutterstock acquired earlier this year– included in the Marquee collection.
In both cases, the video clips are available a la carte only and priced at $399 per clip. They are under a royalty-free license that enables unlimited worldwide use, including commercial projects.
Overall, this new distribution deal seeks to bring more unique and authentic video content onto both platforms, to give users the right resources for top-notch storytelling. And for FILMPAC, it gives its contributing artists and the boutique as a whole the chance to reach out to the millions of buyers in Shutterstock and Pond5 bases combined.
